We’re seeking a proactive and energetic Sales Lead Generator to help identify potential clients and fuel the growth of our business. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced professionals and individuals looking to build a career in tech-focused sales.


Position Overview

As a Sales Lead Generator, you’ll be the first point of contact in identifying new business opportunities. You’ll handle cold calling, research prospects, finding opportunities, and qualify leads for our sales representatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on communication, takes initiative, and is eager to drive results through continuous effort and relationship-building.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential clients through cold calls, email outreach, online platforms, and networking event


  • Qualify and generate leads for systems such as:
     
    • Structured Cabling
    • Video Surveillance
    • Access Control
    • Intrusion Detection
    • Paging & Intercom
    • Nurse Call & Wander Management
    • Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
    • Sound Masking
       
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM to track outreach and follow-up efforts
  • Support the sales team by passing qualified leads and helping nurture early-stage relationships
  • Follow up with prospects and coordinate meetings for the sales team
  • Monitor lead generation performance and recommend strategies for improvement
  • Stay informed about Vigilant Connect’s services and industry trends to effectively communicate value
     

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Willingness to learn about technical solutions and sales processe
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with or willingness to learn CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if travel is required)
     

Preferred:

  • Experience in sales, lead generation, or telemarketing (especially in the technology sectors)
  • Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM platforms
  • Understanding of the low-voltage, security, or life safety industry
  • Experience with cold calling, email outreach, or social selling techniques
